So, I watched Wife Swap and it was... o__O
So one of the families is basically everything that I've ever hated about the way rich kids are treated and it is the very embodiment of the dumb blonde stereotype. I mean... It was insane. The woman was all about 'sparkle' and I felt so bad for the poor girl and kind of hated her at the same time because she was so spoiled and so bratty that I just... There are no words to describe it.
For example. They keep a Christmas tree year round because they give her a present every day so that she can feel special. She never does any chores because that's manual labor. Her parents do her homework for her because it's a 'waste of her time.' And they've been dressing her up and probably putting ridiculous amounts of make-up on her since she was eleven months old. They go out to eat seven days a week because none of them cook and the way this girl treats the waitresses. I mean, wow.
The other family is so strongly feminist that it was kind of ridiculous and stupid too, actually.
But they swapped and right off the bat, the 'sparkly' one tried to dress the girls from her new family up and was just generally offensive. And the amount of make-up that she put on that six year old? Not amusing.
So yeah. That was annoying. Also, I should go to bed now. Really. I shouldn't be reading Tezuka/Fuji doujinshis. Nope. Bed.
